It is our goal to be able to afford a house; however we are both students at Franciscan University and are graduating this May with Philosophy degrees. Most often once we tell people that we have philosophy degrees, we are met with this question, "what are you planning to do with that?" Our response is usually something like, "I'm going to be able to think about stuff". I think that it was worth it.

Both of us have been so very blessed to go to Franciscan University, that is where we met each other.

We both desire to live for Jesus Christ, and want to raise up little holy children in North Carolina where my family lives. Our long term goal is to be close to family, and both be working for the Lord.

I am wanting to do missionary work, I desire to work for the Church whether that be through teaching at a Catholic School, or working at a Parish, or simply using my talents and gifts of music and speaking as a career. I make Catholic music and have been blessed with the desire to help others know Jesus.

Laurel wants to be able to use her talents as an artist to serve the Lord and teach others how to make beautiful things for God. She is the sacred artist for the Liturgy committee here at Franciscan University and is also an apprentice of Amber Knorr. Laurel has learned a lot through helping out at Amber's sacred art studio.

Our next step after getting married is to move to Virginia for a time so that Laurel is able to work as an apprentice under Dony MacManus so that she can learn sculpting as a sacred artist. After her time as Dony's apprentice, we hope to move back to North Carolina, close to family.

Our goal is to be able to own a house and so we're putting this out there knowing that ministry work is more about giving to the Lord than receiving a paycheck. We appreciate your investment in our lives and we will be praying, thanking God for your generosity!!
